Road workers are operating around clock on highways and main roads in Bashkortostan

More than 1,000 machines have been deployed to combat the snow.

On February 16, 1,094 units of special equipment were dispatched to clear federal, regional, and local roads.

— After heavy snowfall, road services are working on the highways and main roads of Bashkortostan around the clock. A total of 152 units of equipment are involved on federal roads, 591 on regional roads, and 351 in Ufa, the regional Ministry of Transport reported.

According to the agency, more than 4,000 tons of specialized materials were used to treat roads to prevent ice formation.
