Unemployment figures calculated in Bashkortostan.
By the end of December 2025, 9.2 thousand residents of Bashkortostan who were not engaged in labor activity were registered with the regional employment service, according to Bashstat.
Of these, 8.7 thousand people were officially registered as unemployed.
"The registered unemployment rate amounted to 0.4% of the labor force," statisticians noted.
In December last year, 2.3 thousand people in Bashkortostan became unemployed, while 1.5 thousand found jobs through employment services.
"The demand of organizations for workers, as reported by employers to employment centers across the republic, amounted to 29.3 thousand vacancies by the end of December 2025. Compared to the end of November last year, this figure decreased by 1.8%," Bashstat clarified.
