44 tons of future hay were exported from Bashkortostan to Belarus

A company in the Chishminsky District sold 44 tons of yellow sweet clover seeds to Belarus, the Bashkortostan branch of Rosselkhoznadzor reported. Sweet clover is a valuable high-protein crop used in hay and silage, as well as in poultry feed.

Last year, seed production companies in the republic exported about 2,000 tons of seeds of various agricultural crops abroad.

Over the past five years, exports of Bashkortostan's agricultural products have doubled. In the first 10 months of last year, the region's agricultural sector generated $271 million in revenue.
