From January to December 31 of last year, the regulatory agency issued approximately 13,000 export phytosanitary certificates for more than 685,300 tons of grain and processed products shipped by Bashkortostan farmers to more than 30 regions of Russia. These include the Krasnodar, Perm, and Stavropol Krais; Belgorod, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Kirov, Kursk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, and Yaroslavl Oblasts; the Republic of Adygea; Kabardino-Balkaria; Karelia; Crimea; Mari El; Tatarstan; Udmurtia; and other regions. "The main types of products exported from Bashkortostan are: wheat (413,000 tons), barley (196,000 tons), peas (8,000 tons), rye (about 8,000 tons), sunflower seeds for processing (almost 40,000 tons), flax (7,400 tons), and cereals (1,670 tons)," the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Bashkortostan clarified.
Phytosanitary inspections revealed no quarantine organisms.
For comparison, in 2024, Bashkortostan agricultural producers sold 455,000 tons of grain and processed grain products on the domestic market. Bashkir grain and cereals were then shipped to 24 regions of Russia.
