Bashkortostan produced 200,000 tons of sugar
Bashkortostan's sugar factories continue processing 2025 sugar beets, the press service of the Republic of Bashkortostan's Ministry of Agriculture reported.
Raevsakhar and the Chishminsky Sugar Refinery have procured over 1.5 million tons of sugar beets. To date, the plants have produced approximately 200,000 tons of white sugar, a 9% increase from the previous year.
In 2025, the sugar beet acreage in Bashkortostan amounted to 43,000 hectares. Sugar beet farmers in the republic achieved a record root crop yield of over 480 centners per hectare. The gross sugar beet harvest reached 2.1 million tons.
