This comes despite a decline in rates in half of Russia's major cities.
Last year saw a clear trend toward lower rental prices for housing. This trend also affected rooms — the most budget-friendly housing option. Analysts from the Mir Kvartir service note that the last time rental prices for rooms declined was in 2017. According to the service, in 2025 rental rates fell in 38 of the 70 cities monitored, while they increased in 32.
Ufa is in the latter group. In 2025, the average room rental rate in the capital of Bashkortostan rose by 3.7% to 11,270 rubles. For comparison, a decade earlier, the situation was different: in 2015, room rental prices in Ufa increased by 15.4% to 6,400 rubles. By July 2016, the average rate had already reached 8,300 rubles.
