In 2025, Bashkortostan agricultural enterprises purchased more than 2,200 units of equipment worth 12 billion rubles. In monetary terms, this is 1.5 billion rubles more than the previous year. Providing agriculture with new Russian machinery and equipment is the goal of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security," the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.
According to the ministry, farms in the region purchased 281 tractors of various traction classes, 184 grain harvesters, 59 self-propelled forage harvesters, 50 self-propelled sprayers, 370 tillage and seeding machines and implements, and other types of equipment. "As a result, since 2019, the region has purchased more than 20,800 units of machinery and equipment worth 82 billion rubles, which has led to the successful modernization of the agricultural complex's technical fleet," commented Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
The head of the Bashkir agricultural sector noted that over six years, the average load on combine harvesters during grain threshing has been reduced from 510 to 430 hectares. The number of tractors per 1,000 hectares of arable land has increased to 4.4.
