New approach to snow removal implemented in Ufa

Arsen Latypov, head of Ufa's Department of Municipal Services and Urban Improvement, said that 359 units of snow-removal equipment have been prepared to operate during the holidays.

More than 150 units are involved daily in clearing the city's road network. During periods of heavy snowfall, it is also planned to deploy more than 20 vehicles per day to clear city streets, with an average of 10 rental units per shift.

As for residential courtyards, which are maintained by housing services, management companies, and homeowners' associations, an average of 198 units of equipment and more than 900 janitors are deployed daily.
