Bashkortostan received an additional 200 million rubles as part of the federal project "Human Resources in the Agricultural Sector." Andrei Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan, announced this. As a result, the total amount of federal support has increased to 953 million rubles, with an additional 19.8 million rubles from co-financing by the republic.
"Bashkortostan is an agricultural region, and this work is fundamentally important for us: without strong personnel, there will be no high yields, no large milk yields, and no export growth," the Prime Minister commented.
As a reminder, the "Human Resources in the Agricultural Sector" project includes five areas. This includes compensation for agricultural enterprises for employee training and student internships. 51 enterprises and 277 employees, as well as 31 enterprises and 354 students, received this support. The largest portion—over 848 million rubles—is allocated for the reconstruction and equipping of colleges and agricultural classrooms with modern equipment.
Funds are also allocated for housing for young professionals and incentive payments for agricultural classroom teachers and university professors.
