Starting on March 1, 2026, legislative changes will come into force in Bashkortostan that simplify land-related work. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported this.
Thus, if adjacent land plots are located within the same territorial zone, forestry area, or specially protected natural area and belong to the same rights holder, they may be merged and redistributed even if they have different permitted land-use types.
Previously, the law directly prohibited this and blocked many projects. Now, investors and operating companies will have more tools for development. It will be easier for them to place facilities, expand production, and streamline property relations. According to Andrey Nazarov, this is a case “when feedback from business turns into real changes in the rules.”
