The Ministry of Finance of Bashkiria has revised the parameters of the republican budget for 2026. As reported by the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, amendments have been submitted to the draft law that was adopted at first reading in November. The updated version will be considered at the December plenary session.
The essence of the changes is that revenues are calculated to be 2.1 billion rubles higher, driven by an increase in transfers from the federal budget (non-repayable receipts) and a higher forecast for excise taxes on petroleum products. These revenue items will offset the expected decline in dividend income.
This amount — 2.1 billion rubles — will be allocated to the needs of the economy and the housing and utilities sector.
The budget deficit remains at 22.5 billion rubles. "We have a clear understanding of which sources will be used to finance it. There are no risks to budget stability," said Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev. Achieving a balanced budget is planned for 2028.
