Yesterday, an oil extraction plant in the Kuyurgazinsky District shipped 2,999 tons of granulated sunflower meal—a valuable high-protein feed additive for livestock and poultry—to Morocco.
Samples of the sunflower meal were collected for laboratory testing.
Samples of by-products from the processing of sunflower seeds into vegetable oil were tested in an accredited testing laboratory.
"Based on the results of the tests, no dangerous quarantine organisms were detected in the animal feed. The sunflower meal fully complies with the phytosanitary safety requirements of the importing country," the supervisory agency emphasized.
In total, from January 9 to December 5, 2025, under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor, 1,022 shipments of granulated sunflower meal, totaling 71,680 tons, were shipped from Bashkortostan to Germany, Latvia, Morocco, and Turkmenistan.
