By the end of 2025, five Russian regions will receive additional funding for training personnel for the agro-industrial complex, the Russian government press service reported. The Prime Minister signed an order reallocating 547.6 million rubles for these purposes.
Bashkortostan, Buryatia, Tatarstan, Penza, and Smolensk Oblasts have expressed a need for additional funding for training agricultural specialists.
This work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project "Personnel in the Agro-Industrial Complex" of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security": the state subsidizes targeted training for students at agricultural universities, their accommodation costs, and provides incentive payments.
The goal of the federal project is to make the industry attractive to highly qualified young specialists and to staff 95% of agricultural enterprises by 2030.
In total, the federal budget allocated 1 billion rubles to Bashkortostan for training agricultural specialists this year.
