Experts calculated the Olivier Index in November. The expenses were based on the traditional "Soviet" recipe for four servings. To prepare the dish, you need: 500 g of potatoes, 200 g of carrots, 5 eggs, 300 g of boiled sausage, 100 g of onions, a can of peas, 400 g of pickles, 200 g of mayonnaise, and 50 g of dill or parsley. Based on median store prices, the set cost about 575 rubles — 5% or 26 rubles more than last year.
Prices for potatoes, onions, and eggs were lower than a year ago, while other ingredients were slightly more expensive. In any case, the increase in the cost of the Olivier set was below inflation, which, as of October, reached 7.7% year-on-year nationwide.
