
Credit card issuance in Bashkortostan increased by 7% in October compared to September, but the volume of borrowed funds decreased slightly due to a decline in the average limit.
According to the United Credit Bureau, residents of the republic received 41,530 credit cards last month, totaling 3.82 billion rubles (4,540 fewer than in September and 2 million fewer than in September).
The average limit in October was 92,000 rubles, compared to 98,000 rubles in September.
The national average interest rate after the grace period ends ranges from 30 to 70%.
In October 2024, residents of Bashkortostan received 49,100 credit cards, a 21.5% decrease compared to September. At that time, the loan cost ceiling reached 80%.
