Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan plan to launch household appliance production

Bashkortostan and Artel Electronics have explored the possibility of launching a joint venture to produce household appliances and electronics. The plans were discussed during a visit by an Uzbek delegation to the republic.

According to Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the region has developed a vast scientific and technical base, which offers numerous opportunities to implement advanced economic projects with foreign partners.

"We are jointly implementing major investment projects—from the construction of the Bekabad technology park to the opening of the AKFA showroom and the Aisha trading house," Bolycheva noted.
