Bashkortostan increased turkey exports to africa by 3.5 times
Bashkortostan exported 459 tons of turkey meat to African countries in the first 10 months of 2025, compared to 135 tons in January-October 2024. The press service of the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor reported this.
At the end of October, the Meleuz plant, which produces frozen turkey products, shipped another batch to the Republic of Congo. The batch weighed 27 tons of semi-finished meat products. Turkey samples were tested at the Bashkortostan Testing Laboratory, which is subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor. Since the beginning of the year, Bashkortostan has exported five batches of turkey meat to this African country, totaling 135 tons.
By the beginning of October, the volume of Bashkortostan's agricultural exports reached $261.3 million. This is $37 million more than a year ago.
