Bashkortostan's revenue from excise taxes on petroleum products and alcohol will increase by 7.4%.

In 2026, the republic's budget revenue from excise taxes on petroleum products, spirits, and beer is projected to increase by 7.4 percent by 2025, reaching 46.7 billion rubles. Acting Minister of Finance Natalya Kalugina announced this at a meeting of the Parliament of Bashkortostan.

As a reminder, the regional budget draft for 2026 and the planning period of 2027 and 2028 were presented at the meeting. The main financial document was submitted to the deputies for consideration by Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan.

According to Natalya Kalugina, corporate income tax, personal income tax, excise taxes, and property taxes account for over 86% of tax and non-tax revenues. Corporate income tax in 2026 is projected at 51.3 billion rubles, a 27.2 percent decrease, or 19 billion rubles, compared to the revised 2025 plan.

Revenue from other taxes is projected to increase compared to the revised 2025 plan. For example, personal income tax in 2026 is projected to be 90.4 billion rubles, an increase of 11.6% compared to the revised 2025 plan.

"Revenue from excise taxes on petroleum products, strong alcohol, and beer is also expected to increase by 7.4 percent by 2025, totaling 46.7 billion rubles. This increase in excise tax revenue is projected, taking into account indexation of rates at an average of 4% annually, in accordance with federal legislation, and the volume of petroleum product sales. Property taxes for 2026 are also projected to increase by 6% compared to the 2025 plan. Non-tax revenues for next year will amount to approximately 15.7 billion rubles," explained Natalya Kalugina.
