International tourism has become cheaper in Bashkortostan.

International travel has become 5% more affordable compared to September 2024, according to data from the National Bank of Bashkortostan. Experts note that the cost of international tours is highly volatile and depends heavily on exchange rates and demand. For example, the ruble weakened slightly in September, and tourist demand shifted seasonally to Egypt, the UAE, and Southeast Asia. This led to higher prices for travel packages to these destinations, and by August, outbound tourism services had increased by 1.6%.

The cost of vacations within the region also increased. In the fall, demand for weekend trips within the republic increased. Health resort and spa services increased in price by 4.6% compared to August, with no change over the year.

Educational services saw the most significant price increase (6% compared to August, 10.7% compared to the year). This is due, in part, to the cumulative increase in operating costs for educational institutions. Moreover, the annual price increase for educational services was slightly lower than that for services overall, analysts note.

Overall, annual inflation in the region in September was 8.2%.
