Russian Ministry of Economic Development: Bashkortostan to be among top 10 economic growth leaders
According to the ministry's forecast for 2026-2028, the gross regional product is expected to grow by 3.9% annually.
Bashkortostan was the only region in the Volga Federal District to be among the projected top 10 areas with the highest economic growth rates. According to estimates by experts at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the republic's gross regional product is expected to grow by an average of 3.9% over the next three years. No decline in industrial production is expected in the region.
Retail trade is also projected to grow by 5.4% over the next three years (9th place in the top 10).
Bashkortostan is also among the regions with the highest growth rates in manufacturing output by the end of 2025 (+5.9%). Favorable growth rates are projected to continue.
