Winter crop harvesting has been completed in Bashkortostan. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, announced this at a government meeting.
More than 89% of the republic's grain crops have already been harvested. Currently, the gross grain harvest stands at 3.4 million tons, with an average yield of 27.5 centners per hectare. The Sterlitamak district leads in grain and legume harvesting, with over 210,000 tons harvested. More than 150,000 tons have also been harvested in the Chekmagushevsky, Ilishevsky, Aurgazinsky, and Meleuzovsky districts. The Chekmagushevsky, Karmaskalinsky, Sterlitamaksky, and Aurgazinsky districts lead in grain yields.
Harvesting of industrial crops and sugar beets is underway. To date, 57% of the area has been harvested, yielding 470 centners per hectare. More than 300,000 tons have been harvested and processed. 20% of the oilseed area has also been harvested.
