Bashkortostan has harvested 87% of its grain crop.

3.4 million tons of grain have been threshed.

To date, Bashkortostan has harvested nearly 3.4 million tons of grain, according to Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The harvest is 30% higher than the target set for September 26, 2024.

"A yield of over 27 centners per hectare is a good indicator. 13% of the area remains to be harvested. We need just a few more days of good weather to complete the harvest as efficiently as possible," the head of government noted.

From January to August, agricultural production volumes totaled 132.4 billion rubles, a 6.2% increase year-on-year. Crop production accounts for 28.2 billion rubles, and this sector is developing very dynamically, noted Andrey Nazarov.

Oilseed harvesting is currently in full swing. They have been sown on 640,000 hectares. With 22% of the harvest completed so far, the gross oilseed yield stands at 243,000 tons.

Sugar beet also produced a good harvest. Half of the crop (22,000 hectares) has been harvested, yielding 1.1 million tons of root crops, equivalent to 480 centners per hectare. Both sugar refineries are operating at full capacity, producing over 36,000 tons of sugar in the month of September.
