Inflation in Republic of Bashkortostan has been declining for third consecutive month
In August, annual inflation in the republic stood at 8%. This is lower than the national average in Russia (8.1%) and the Volga Federal District (8.7%).
In August, annual inflation in the republic slowed again, reaching 8%. Experts from the National Bank commented on the price dynamics.
Over the month, prices in the region fell by 0.3% compared to July. The most noticeable drop in August was in food prices, mainly due to an increased supply of vegetables and fruits, eggs, and dairy products.
At the end of summer, for the first time this year, service prices also decreased. The biggest declines were in local tourism and railway passenger transportation.
