Foreign trade turnover volume announced in Bashkiria

Exports account for 75%, with more than half of these being non-raw material, non-energy products.

In the first half of the year, Bashkiria's foreign trade turnover amounted to $1.8 billion, with $1.4 billion coming from exports. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov announced this at a meeting in the government.

For non-raw material, non-energy exports (NEE) in January-May, the republic earned $646 million, 6.2% more than in the five months of last year.

Overall, the share of NRE reached 55.8%. "This means that more than half of what we sell abroad is finished products, technologies, goods, and not raw materials," commented Margarita Bolycheva, head of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations.

The region supplies mechanical engineering and chemical products, food, as well as metals and metal products abroad. Textile exports have doubled since 2021.

The Chairman of the Cabinet highly praised the work to strengthen international and interregional ties: the republic took part in several major congresses, including the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, the St. Petersburg Legal Forum, and the Innoprom exhibition.
