Ufa may increase payments to best teachers

Last year, the title of "Honorary Teacher of the City of Ufa" was established. For the first time, it was awarded to 16 teachers who made a significant contribution to the development of education and the upbringing of the younger generation, the city administration reports.

As specified by the mayor's office, in connection with the high social significance of the award, a proposal has been prepared to increase the amount of the monetary incentive to 60,000 rubles. In addition, it is planned to expand the circle of those awarded - this year, the title may be granted to 30 teachers of the capital of the republic.

A draft of such a decision has been submitted for discussion at the next meeting of the Ufa City Council.
