

Spring grain harvesting is currently underway in 42 districts of the republic. About 7% of the planned area has been mown, and about 220 thousand tons of grain have been threshed. The yield is 30.3 centners per hectare in 2024, compared to 24 centners per hectare in 2023.
At the moment, about 85% of the area, or 200 thousand hectares of winter crops, have been threshed. A total of 741 thousand tons of grain have been threshed. The yield of winter crops is traditionally higher - 37.1 centners per hectare, against 30.9 centners per hectare in 2024.
Meanwhile, winter crops are being sown in 22 districts of the republic. So far, more than 7.6 thousand hectares have been sown. In total, 394 thousand hectares are planned to be sown for the 2026 harvest in Bashkiria, which is 67% more than was sown for the 2025 harvest.
