Average salary will be calculated in new way in Russia

The new procedure for calculating average earnings will come into force on September 1 and will be valid for six years, in accordance with the government decree. The Cabinet of Ministers updated the calculation methodology - the previous mechanism has been in effect since 2007.

As follows from the document, to calculate vacation pay and pay compensation for unused vacation days, the average salary will be calculated by dividing the amount for the billing period by 12 and by the average monthly number of calendar days, 29.3.
