Mortgage rates have fallen by 6.7% since year begin

Banks continue to reduce rates on market mortgages.

According to the mortgage program operator Dom.RF, the average rate on new buildings is now 22.42% (-6.56% compared to January 10), on the secondary market, 22.40% (-6.99%).

The rate of rate reduction is significantly ahead of the key rate dynamics, experts note. From the January level of 21%, it fell to 18% in July. The next meeting of the Central Bank on the key rate will be held on September 12.
