Bashkiria exported sunflower meal to Turkmenistan

The largest producer of vegetable oil and animal feed from the Kuyurgazinsky district shipped a trial batch of granulated sunflower meal to Turkmenistan.

Samples of the feed additive for farm animals and poultry passed all the necessary tests.

"No dangerous organisms were found in the valuable high-protein additive to animal feed. Granulated sunflower meal fully complies with the requirements of GOST and the importing country. A phytosanitary certificate was issued," the supervisory agency said in a statement.

Granulated sunflower meal has a high content of protein, fiber, phosphorus, potassium, and B vitamins. It improves digestion, promotes weight gain, and strengthens the immune system of farm animals and poultry. Due to its balanced composition and high nutritional value, the meal is actively used in compound feed and is considered an essential component of the diet in livestock farming.

Currently, Bashkiria exports sunflower meal to the EU, EAEU, and China.
