Ufa to select contractor for first Pedestrian Street

Ufa authorities will select at auction the contractor for the improvement of Teatralnaya Street, which will become a pedestrian street. The starting price is set at 259 million rubles, the state procurement website reports.

According to the terms of the contract, the contractor must lay tiles, install lighting systems, install video surveillance, install small architectural forms, and landscape the area. An arch will be built near the Actor's House. Flowerpots, concrete benches, and transformable benches will appear along the pedestrian street. The project also provides for the installation of two "Starry Sky" lighting complexes. The work must be completed by November 2026. They will have a 5-year warranty.
