Old buildings of four schools have been under renovation in Salavat for a year now. All of them are undergoing major renovations for the first time thanks to their inclusion in the federal program “Modernization of School Education Systems.”
111 million rubles have been allocated for the renovation of Gymnasium No. 1, built in 1954. The municipal infrastructure systems are especially worn out here — sewerage, heating, and others, the city newspaper “Vybor” wrote.
A major renovation awaits School No. 4 — about 114 million rubles have been allocated for the renovation of a building over 40 years old.
The building of Cadet School No. 2 is 66 years old. 105 million rubles have been received for its major renovation.
The premises of Music School No. 7 are almost 60 years old, 115 million rubles have been allocated for its renovation.
The art school is also being renovated in Salavat. Funds for its renovation have been reserved within the framework of the national project "Family" of the federal project "Family Values and Cultural Infrastructure".
Following a working visit to the facilities, the head of the Salavat city administration, Marat Zagidullin, reported that key stages have not been completed everywhere, and the builders are entering the home stretch: the installation of the power supply system is being completed, canteens, gyms and entrance areas are being renovated, and furniture is being assembled in the classrooms.
The mayor emphasized that all schools in the city must be fully prepared to receive students by September 1.
In total, 35 schools, 2 kindergartens and 3 colleges are planned to be renovated by the beginning of the school year within the framework of the state program for the overhaul of educational facilities in the republic.
