According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Bashkiria, over 2 billion rubles from the federal budget have been attracted within the framework of the project.
"This year, the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State" was launched. Within its framework, we plan to implement 3 regional projects," Andrey Nazarov emphasized.
As noted by the Ministry of Digital Development of Bashkiria, the increase in base 4G stations in 2024 amounted to 24.4%, from 12,500 to 15,600 units. Their share grew by 8.2%.
"The project "Elimination of Digital Inequality 2.0" continues to develop to install base stations for cellular communications in small towns with a population of 100 to 1000 people. The project list includes more than 1200 settlements in Bashkortostan, which is the largest figure among all regions. In total, base stations have been launched in 292 settlements within the framework of the program. In the first half of 2025, 26 base stations began operating, and by the end of the year they will be launched in 61 more settlements," commented Gennady Razumikin, Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In addition, 93% of regional roads are provided with the Internet. Thus, last year, five new base stations were built on the M-5 highway from Oktyabrsky to the border with the Chelyabinsk region. Two communication towers have been installed on the R-240 Ufa-Orenburg highway, and four more are planned to be installed this year. The Dyurtyuli-Achit section of the federal highway M-12 "Vostok" is also provided with a stable connection.
