Expectations of a collapse in the new housing market after the cancellation of the preferential mortgage a year ago have proven unfounded. The results of the first half of 2025 indicate that prices continue to rise, although the increase is often below the rate of inflation, according to experts. Prices are being supported by a decrease in the supply of new apartments, down 24% across the country since the beginning of the year.
In Ufa, the median price of an average new apartment in June reached 7.66 million rubles (+0.3% compared to May and +1.4% compared to January).
The price per square meter increased by 4.3% over the six months, reaching 173,800 rubles.
