Residents of the Blagoveshchensk Priority Development Area (PDA) rated the effectiveness of support measures, available services, and site infrastructure at 4.9 out of 5 points, according to the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan.
A similar score was previously recorded for the TASED in Kumertau. The evaluation was conducted as part of the national survey “Assessment of Investment Infrastructure by Entrepreneurs,” which contributes to the National Investment Climate Ranking.
In Blagoveshchensk, 30 PDA residents are currently implementing investment projects totaling 21.3 billion rubles, with plans to create over 5,700 new jobs. So far, investors in Blagoveshchensk have invested more than 4.3 billion rubles and have created over 2,200 jobs.
The resident companies are involved in the production of metals, building materials, lighting products, electrical equipment, bakery goods, cosmetics, pet products, noise barriers, and reinforced concrete structures.
Earlier, it was reported that in the first quarter of this year, residents of Bashkiria’s PDAs invested more than 500 million rubles and created 345 new jobs, over 70% of which were in Blagoveshchensk.
Currently, there are five active PDAs in Bashkortostan: in Blagoveshchensk, Belebey, Kumertau, Beloretsk, and Neftekamsk. Resident companies enjoy profit tax benefits — the federal portion is fully waived for the first five years, while the regional portion is reduced to 5%. For the following five years, the regional tax is 10%. A reduced coefficient also applies to the mineral extraction tax.
At the regional level, PDA residents are exempt from property tax, and at the municipal level, from land tax. They also benefit from a reduced rental rate (0.01) for state and municipal property. In addition, PDA status allows investors to lease land plots without participating in public tenders.
