

Business accounts hold 151 billion rubles.
As of May 1, 2025, the volume of bank deposits held by residents of Bashkiria reached 917.077 billion rubles, according to the National Bank.
The amount of personal savings deposits increased by 23.3% over the year to 805.9 billion rubles. Compared to May of last year, the inflow of savings rose by 28%.
Funds in escrow accounts as of May totaled 111.16 billion rubles, marking a 19.7% year-over-year increase.
Three years ago, on May 1, 2022, deposits of the republic’s residents amounted to 497.6 billion rubles (now higher by 308.3 billion), while escrow accounts held 192.4 billion rubles (now 81.3 billion less).
As of May 1, 2025, corporate legal entity deposits amounted to 116.56 billion rubles — up 32.6% year-over-year, although compared to May of last year there was a decrease of 3.7%. In addition, large businesses increased their borrowing.
Individual entrepreneurs’ accounts hold 34.67 billion rubles, with growth slowing (+19% compared to +27.4% in May 2024).
