Mortgage lending has decreased by half in year in Bashkiria
In January-April 2024, residents of the republic took out mortgages for 50 billion rubles, and a year later, for 25 billion rubles.
For January to April 2025, the volume of mortgage loans issued to residents of Bashkiria totaled 25.1 billion rubles, according to data from the National Bank of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The decrease from the "portfolio" of January-April 2024, when mortgages were taken for 50.17 billion, amounted to 50%.
In the first half of 2024, preferential mortgages were still in effect for everyone, and the key rate was 16%.
In January-April 2023, with a key rate of 7.5%, the volume of mortgages amounted to 60.02 billion rubles.
According to the United Credit Bureau, in March 2025, residents of Bashkiria took out 1,702 mortgage loans for a total of 6.38 billion rubles. The average bill was 3.75 million rubles.
