Radiy Khabirov named main task of Bashkiria at SPIEF

In an interview with the editor-in-chief of Novye Izvestia (part of the 1MI media holding), Andrey Krasnobaev, the head of the region, discussed the work of the republic's delegation at the SPIEF and the development of Bashkortostan's economy.

“This is not the first year that we have participated in the SPIEF, and our main goal is, of course, the presentation of the republic. And the second is to attract investments. Therefore, the main reason we came is to meet with investors, both those with whom we are already working and those with whom we have projects at various stages of implementation. And, accordingly, to meet and contact new investors who are just coming to Bashkortostan. In this regard, the SPIEF is a unique platform. Everything is very convenient here. We can bring everyone together in one place: our colleagues, investors, heads of large corporations with whom we collaborate, and members of the government. This is constant work,” noted Radiy Khabirov. The head of the region pointed out that this year the Bashkiria stand is dedicated to science: “We are presenting our Interuniversity Campus. And the point is not just in the presentation — it is an invitation to cooperation. Today, we signed an agreement with the Tomsk Region. Tomsk is the largest scientific center in Siberia; therefore, we share many of the same competencies. In general, it cannot be said that there is a specific industry priority. We sign a variety of agreements. These include construction projects, agricultural initiatives, and industrial projects. We still have a meeting with the leadership of the Federal Air Transport Agency ahead. We aim to explore the potential for subsidizing flights from Ufa to other cities within our country. Therefore, I emphasize that the SPIEF is a very convenient platform for presentation and attracting investment,” said the Head of Bashkiria.
