Large logistics center worth 4.6 billion rubles will be built in Ufa by 2029

Bashkortostan and Sweet Life Foodservice will create a large logistics center in Ufa. The complex, with an area of 36,000 square meters, is planned to be built by the end of 2029, creating 1,000 new jobs.

According to the document, signed today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, and Albert Gusev, CEO of the Sladkaya Zhizn group of companies, it is planned to build a distribution trade and distribution center in Ufa.

Albert Gusev stated that the center will be situated in the building of the former Castorama store, located near the Ufa-Airport highway, which Sweet Life Foodservice has acquired and plans to re-equip. In the future, the warehouse complex will be expanded by a factor of two, which will require additional investment. “The creation of a new logistics complex in Ufa will be an important step in the development of our distribution network. This will be one of the most modern distribution centers in the Volga Federal District. It is no coincidence that we are implementing the project in Bashkortostan - the strategic location of the republic will allow us to provide food products to other regional centers: Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Orenburg, Samara, Chelyabinsk,” said Albert Gusev.

The initiative to build a distribution trade and distribution center in Ufa will be included in Bashkortostan's list of priority investment projects. The additional infrastructure of Sweet Life Foodservice will strengthen the development of trade and ensure the stability of the food market in the region. “The new facility, worth 4.6 billion rubles, will strengthen Ufa’s position as a key logistics center in the Volga Federal District. It is gratifying that the Sladkaya Zhizn company has chosen Bashkortostan to implement such an important project. Together, we will create a modern distribution hub that will become a powerful impetus for the development of trade and related industries in the region,” Radiy Khabirov emphasized.

Sweet Life Foodservice is the largest Russian supplier of food products for the HoReCa sector. The company was founded in 2007 and supplies restaurants, hotels, and catering companies with products from 600 domestic and international manufacturers.
