Bashkiria increased OSB and chipboard exports to China by 4 times

From January 9 to June 10, 2025, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for Bashkiria certified more than 15,000 cubic meters of oriented strand boards and wood-based particle boards (OSB and chipboard) prepared by the republic's largest enterprise for deep wood processing and the production of building materials from wood for export. For comparison, for the same period in 2024, the volume of OSB and chipboard exports from Bashkiria was slightly more than 3.6 thousand cubic meters, which is 4.2 times less than in the current year.

Samples of products selected from 344 batches were examined in the Bashkir testing laboratory.

"According to the results of the examinations, dangerous quarantine pests were not detected in wood boards of the MF-PB, OSB / 3 ECO, PB STANDARD, and PB E-LE brands. "The processed timber products comply with the phytosanitary safety requirements of the PRC," the press service of the supervisory agency noted.

Furniture and construction boards were shipped to the PRC by container trains.
