Bashkiria hit Top 5 Russia regions attractive to Turkey

The Republic of Bashkortostan has entered the top 5 regions of Russia that are attractive to Turkish companies in terms of investment. This was reported on air by Arsen Ayupov, President of the Russian-Turkish Dialogue Association and Chairman of the Russian-Turkish Working Group under the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, on Vesti FM.

The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic confirmed that, indeed, business contacts with the Republic of Turkey are growing every year.

According to Minister Margarita Bolycheva, Turkey ranks second in Bashkiria's foreign economic turnover structure for 2024. Exports account for 89.4%, and imports account for 10.6%.

At the end of last year, a Turkish project for the production of various Özfatihler Vinç cranes was launched in Bashkortostan. A project is currently being developed to organize birch veneer production in Bashkortostan. Projects for the production of filters for heavy construction, road equipment, and the construction of a seed plant are under consideration. This year, a Turkish investor opened the Magadan restaurant in the Iremel shopping center in Ufa.
