City budget execution assessed in Ufa

Public hearings on the draft report on the execution of the capital budget for 2024 were held in Ufa. 232 city residents took part in them.

The report was prepared by the deputy head of the administration, Ildar Imamov, head of the financial department of the Ufa administration.

"The total volume of income and expenditure of the city budget in 2024 amounted to 50.5 billion rubles and 49.1 billion rubles, respectively. The main sources of replenishment for the city budget are tax and non-tax revenues, which account for 47%, as well as inter-budget transfers, which comprise 53%. Ufa's budget is socially oriented. Almost half of the financial resources—more than 24 billion rubles—were allocated to the social sphere last year. Also, large expense items were the national economy, housing and communal services, support for sports and other areas," said Ildar Imamov.

Recall that from May 21 to June 1, written proposals from Ufa residents were accepted. Thus, the commission received 65 written requests from city residents to hold public hearings. At the hearings themselves, 12 residents of the capital publicly expressed their opinions on the project. Following the Regulation on public hearings, the commission will consider all the proposals received and give an opinion on them.

The results will be summarized at a meeting of the commission for holding public hearings, and they will be posted on the Ufa City Council's website in the section "Participation of citizens in local government" under the subsection "Conducted public hearings".
