Best oil products were named in Bashkortostan

The products of the leading oil refining and petrochemical enterprises of the republic became the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition "100 best products of Russia" - "The best products of Bashkortostan". Eight products manufactured in the region were recognized as laureates and diploma winners of the competition.

In the nomination "Products for industrial and technical purposes", the best were alpha-methylstyrene, polypropylene, liquid pyrolysis products, and SKEPT rubber, produced at the Ufaorgsintez enterprise (Bashneft, part of the Rosneft structure). This enterprise is the sole manufacturer of SKEPT rubber in Russia, which is in high demand in the automotive, cable, sealant, and adhesive industries. The victory is symbolic, marking the 95th anniversary of the country's receipt of the first synthetic rubber via an industrial method, as pioneered by Academician Sergei Lebedev. The plant was also awarded a first-degree diploma as the holder of the "Best Quality Management System". The integration of the ISO 9001 quality system with the ISO 50001 energy management system, combined with the full implementation of the process approach at the enterprise, enables the continuous improvement of energy efficiency in technological processes.

Marine residual fuel, catalytic cracking gasoline, fuel oil, and compressor mineral oil, which were presented for the first time at the competition by Ufa oil refineries, also became laureates.

The winners of the regional stage will represent Bashkortostan at the federal competition "100 Best Goods of Russia", the results of which will be summed up in November, on International Quality Day. These achievements emphasize the high technological level and competitiveness of the oil refining and petrochemical industries of the republic.
