

Bashkiria may establish representative offices in India and Kyrgyzstan. Currently, its offices operate under Russia’s trade missions in Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This form of developing foreign economic activity has proven effective, according to Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the republic, who spoke at an operational government meeting.
In 2024, Bashkiria’s foreign trade turnover with countries where representatives are present accounted for 55.3% of the region’s total foreign trade turnover. Currently, the republic’s representatives are managing investment projects that attract foreign capital, totaling approximately 5 billion rubles.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that Bashkiria maintains international and trade relations with 103 countries. The republic’s foreign trade turnover increased by 6.4%, with exports growing by 4.2%.
