Bashkortostan has become one of three Russian regions to receive additional funding for the development of industrial parks. The Russian government has already signed a corresponding order.
The republic will receive over 219 million rubles for the “Ufimsky” industrial park. The funds will partially cover the costs of designing, constructing, or upgrading industrial infrastructure, purchasing equipment, and connecting to utility networks.
The state support mechanism for industrial parks, technology parks, and special economic zones has been in place since 2014. Subsidies are allocated based on a competitive selection conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The funding supports the development of sites where projects are implemented in various sectors, including aviation, automotive, light industry, oil and gas, energy engineering, children’s goods manufacturing, and machine tool production, encompassing more than 30 industries in total.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that Bashkortostan ranked among the top five Russian regions in terms of stable industrial growth.
