Transport interchange hub will be built at Shaksha station

A project for planning a transport interchange hub (TIH) at Shaksha station has been approved in Ufa. The corresponding resolution has been published on the city administration website.

The creation of a TIH is necessary for the safe and convenient redistribution of passenger flows between modes of transport and directions of travel. So that people can conveniently use public transport, making transfers or leaving their cars in designated parking lots. In Ufa, as part of the "City Electric Train" project, work has already been completed on creating transport interchange hubs at Pravaya Belaya, GDK, Parkovaya, and Chernikovka stations. Landscaping of the territory at the Dema station is nearing completion.

According to the planning project, the new TIH at Shaksha station will include two modular railway stations, one for each track. For the convenience of passengers, a new overpass will be created over Perspektivnaya Street. The platform will be 330 meters long and 6-8 meters wide, allowing it to accommodate 12-car Lastochka-type electric trains. Access roads will be from Vysokovoltnaya and Sovetov streets. Two parking and turning areas, located on each side of the railway tracks, and 10 spaces for buses are provided for public transportation. For those who will transfer to the electric train from their car, parking lots for 162 and 207 parking spaces are being created.
