Prices and inflation have changed in Bashkiria
According to Rosstat, in April 2025, prices in Bashkiria rose by 0.21% compared to March. Annual inflation decreased and amounted to 9.55%. This is lower than the national average (10.23%).
In April, food products and services became more expensive again. In a year-on-year comparison, the price increase in these categories exceeded inflation. Prices for non-food products decreased in April, and over the year, they increased significantly below the inflation rate.
The current price growth, excluding seasonality, in the republic continued to slow down in April. Among the main reasons are a decline in consumer demand for durable goods and cheaper imports resulting from the strengthening of the ruble.
Annual inflation in the country decreased in April, but it is still significantly higher than the target level. Therefore, the Bank of Russia will continue its policy of reducing inflation. This means that interest rates will remain high for as long as necessary to return inflation to 4% by 2026.
