Over the past four years, retail turnover in Bashkiria has exceeded 1.5 trillion rubles. According to this indicator, the republic takes 8th place in Russia and 2nd in the Volga Federal District. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov announced this during the government meeting, which discussed trade development.
For the electronic format, the turnover of 2024 showed an increase of 37% from 2023, and sales volumes have increased by about 12 times over the past five to six years.
The turnover for January-March 2025 amounted to more than 10 billion rubles, which is 63% more than the first quarter of 2024.
Warehouse infrastructure is actively developing to reduce the logistics burden and increase wholesale turnover in the republic. Last year, as a result of implementing large investment projects, the prime minister recalled about 100,000 square meters of high-quality warehouse areas of class “A” and “B.”
In the fall of 2024, the largest logistics complex, Ozon, was launched in the Bashkir Blagoveshchensk. Plans to build Wildberris warehouses in the region also exist.
