Bashkiria doubled supply of grain to Russian regions

The Rosselkhoznadzor in the Republic of Belarus said that since the beginning of 2025, the enterprises of the agricultural sector of Bashkiria have distributed more than 182,000 tons of grain and its processing products in the country's regions.

The volume of grain shipped to the domestic market of Russia for the four months of the current year and its processing products is more than half that of the same period of 2024. In addition, from 16 to 21 regions, the geography of the supply of grain products from Bashkiria has expanded. Among them are Krasnodar, Perm, Stavropol Territory, Belgorod, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Kursk, Moscow, Orenburg, Pskov, Saratov, Rostov, Tambov, Tverskaya, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl regions, as well as Adygea, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karelia, Tatarstan, and Udmurtia. Most of all, the Bashkir agricultural enterprises were shipped to other wheat regions - over 109 thousand tons. In addition, the farmers of the republic put barley, peas, rye, sunflower seeds for processing, flax, and various cereals on the domestic market.

Product samples have passed entomological, herbological, and mycological studies in the Bashkir testing laboratory subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor. According to the results of phytosanitary examinations, dangerous quarantine organisms and pests of bread reserves have not been detected. The grain and its processing products comply with the requirements of the phytosanitary security of GOST and the EAEU, which is emphasized in the supervisory department.

During the same period in 2024, the enterprises of the Bashkiria agro-industrial complex sold 95.62 thousand tons of grain and its processing products to other regions of Russia.
