At the opening of the exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technologies—2025," a delegation of officials inspected the exposition. The delegation included the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, Sergey Tsivilev, and the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov.
During a visit to the stand of PJSC ANK Bashneft, which is part of the Rosneft structure, Viktor Solovykh, Deputy General Director of Bashneft for oil and gas production, presented the top officials of the republic and the country with the results of the Digital Field project over the past five years.
The project covers all key oil production and logistics processes, allowing the use of modern digital tools, including decision support systems with elements of artificial intelligence, digital twins, 3D visualization, and software robots.
"The oil and gas chemical industry is undoubtedly the basis of the economy of our republic. We live in tough times, but our enterprises are developing, and production modernization programs are continuing. Investment projects are being implemented, and we are very grateful to the heads of enterprises in this sector,” said the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, assessing the project results.
The Bashneft company, which has more than 90 years of experience in developing oil fields, was chosen for testing and early implementation of digital solutions in production. A joint team of specialists from Bashneft, SIBINTEK (the Company's IT integrator), and the Rosneft scientific institute in Ufa tested and implemented digital technologies in business processes quickly. Ruslan Yenikeev, Project Manager for Engineering and Digital Transformation at PJSC Bashneft: “Over 5 years of industrial operation, 8,100 oil wells have already been connected to the Digital Field system, which is more than 70% of the total healthy stock in Bashkortostan. An additional 70 thousand tons of oil have been produced, and transportation costs have been optimized by 35%.
Digital twins of processes have become the basis for a new management model implemented through the Integrated Operations Center. The Ilishevskoye field served as a pilot site, where digital solutions cover the entire production chain - from the reservoir to oil delivery points.
Thanks to the technology's successful testing, it has begun to be implemented at other Rosneft enterprises. For example, RN-Uvatneftegaz has implemented the Sphere 3D information technology system, which contains more than 3,000 digital models of objects and 6,000 models of vehicles. The system automatically selects the optimal operating modes of the equipment, increasing process efficiency and safety.
The "Digital Field" example demonstrates how the integration of digital solutions and professional competencies can significantly increase the Russian oil industry's sustainability and competitiveness.
Also, as part of the exhibition, the oil company awarded the winner of the "Client of the Year" competition. Konstantin Serov from Ufa purchased the maximum amount of fuel in a year, more than 26,000 liters. Andrey Kudryavtsev, general director of Bashneft-Retail LLC, awarded the "Client of the Year" a certificate for 500,000 bonuses that can be spent on gasoline or related products at gas stations.
