

The Bank of Russia issued a commemorative coin in honor of the 100th anniversary of the International Children's Center Artek. The coin with a face value of 3 rubles is released in the Historical Events series.
It is made of 925 silver of proof quality. The weight of the precious metal is 31.1 g, and the diameter of the circle is 39 mm.
"Artek began in 1925 with four canvas tents at the foot of Mount Ayu-Dag, but over time it became the most famous pioneer camp in the USSR. Not only did pioneers from all over the Union dream of getting there, but also children from other countries. More than 1.8 million children have visited it during its existence," the Central Bank's press service said.
